Visit of technical management of the distribution grid company Rosseti Moscow Region

On 26 November 2021, Izolyator Production Complex and Izolyator-AKS enterprise received representatives of the executive office and chief engineers of the branches of the distribution grid company Rosseti Moscow Region.

Rosseti Moscow Region is a distribution grid company, one of the largest in Russia. Among the key activities of the company there are provision of services for the transmission of electrical energy and technological connection of consumers to power grids on the territory of Moscow and the Moscow Region. Rosseti Moscow Region, receiving electricity from generating companies, adjacent power systems, and trunk power grids, transfers it to the points of connection of end consumers or territorial grid organizations. The main office of the company is located in Moscow. Rosseti Moscow Region is part of the Rosseti Group.

The visit was made as part of the agenda of an off-site meeting of the technical managers of Rosseti Moscow Region.

The main purpose of the visit is to get acquainted with the modern production of high-voltage bushings and high-voltage cable accessories.

The group of visitors was headed by Dmitry Gvozdev, First Deputy General Director — Chief Engineer of Rosseti Moscow Region.

The acquaintance with the enterprises of the Izolyator Group began with a tour of the exposition of the corporate museum, where documents and exhibits present both the milestones of the centuries-old history of the Izolyator plant and the latest achievements in various activities: the creation of innovative high-voltage insulation equipment, and the successes in the development of cooperation with numerous Russian and foreign partners, and bright events in corporate life.

Continuing the theme of the continuous development of the enterprise, CEO of Zavod Izolyator Alexander Slavinsky made a presentation on the repositioning of the Izolyator brand due to the diversification of production and expansion of its presence in the global electrical market.

The renewed brand is positioned as an international multi-product industrial group of companies with a wide range of capabilities, including the production of electrical products, scientific, technical and educational activities, as well as full support of engineering and technical projects.

Then a sightseeing tour of the Izolyator Industrial Complex took place.

The guests got acquainted with the sequence of technological stages of production and testing of high-voltage bushings with solid internal RIP and RIN insulation, quality control after each operation and the coordination of work of all production divisions receiving all necessary explanations.

During the tour of the technological sites, the guests visited a specially organized exhibition space with an anniversary exposition dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the Izolyator plant. The materials of the stand harmoniously complemented the historical excursion seen earlier.

The next object of the tour of the industrial complex was Izolyator-AKS, a developer and manufacturer of high-voltage cable accessories of all types for 126 to 252 kV voltages and cable conductor cross-sections up to 2500 mm² (cable joints, outdoor terminations and cable connectors).

The company was founded in April 2019, and already in the second quarter 2020 it released its first batch of products. Since September 2021 it has been a plenipotentiary member of the International Association ‘Electrokabel’.

The guests were shown a step-by-step production process of the cable accessories, which is carried out on the most modern and unparalleled injection molding machines. All manufactured products undergo testing in own testing laboratory with a park of unique equipment.

During the tour, the guests got acquainted with the latest development of the company: a completely dry outdoor terminations that does not require a special compound or insulator filling with SF6 during operation.

The final part of the excursion was a visit to own multifunctional sports hall, which is one of the main centers of corporate life of the Izolyator Group.

Each of the events of the visit was accompanied by an active and open dialogue, which will further strengthen partnerships and develop cooperation.
