Tour for students of Bauman Moscow State Technical University

On 22 September 2022, a study tour of the enterprises of the Izolyator Group was arranged for the second-year students of the Department of Industrial Design of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University.

The Department of Industrial Design of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University is focused on training Design specialists, bachelors and masters. The main task of the department is the implementation of a high-quality system for training specialists in the field of industrial design, integrated into the classical engineering school of the University. Bauman Moscow State Technical University (BMSTU) is a national research university of engineering and technology that integrates education and science for the purpose of training highly qualified specialists. The university trains students in almost the entire range of modern machine and instrument making.

The tour was organized in accordance with the curriculum of the Department of Industrial Design, which provides for students to undergo ‘Creative Practice’ in the Izolyator Group.

The next event was a visit to the Izolyator Production Complex, which produces high-voltage bushings for all voltages from 12 kV and above up to ultra-high.

The tour went through all the workshops in the order of the technological sequence of manufacturing, testing and preparing bushings for shipment to the customer.

A visit to each production station was accompanied by exhaustive explanations given by Lead Technical Support Specialist Viktor Kiryukhin explaining the essence of each operation and the purpose of the process equipment used at that stage.
