Talks with the First Deputy General Director of the Main Power System of South

On 9 February 2022, Sales and Business Development Director (Russia) of Izolyator Group Alexander Savinov visited the office of the Main Power System of South in Zheleznovodsk.

Main Power System of South (MPS South) operating on the Southern and North-Caucasian federal districts. MPS South provides connection of the United Energy System of the South with energy systems of the Center of Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and through them with the power systems of Turkey and Iran. MPS South is headquartered in Zheleznovodsk, Stavropol territory. Main Power System of South is a branch of Rosseti FGC UES (Federal Grid Company of Unified Energy System).

The guest was received by First Deputy General Director — Chief Engineer Gennady Kovtun.

The parties had talks on the following areas of cooperation between MPS South and the Izolyator Group:

• technical and operational advantages of high-voltage bushings with moisture-resistant solid internal RIN-insulation, prospects for their use in the power grid;
• scope, design and advantages of 126–252 kV cable accessories manufactured by the Izolyator-AKS plant;
• organization and planning of training of technical specialists of the MPS South under the advanced training programs of the Izolyator Corporate University.

The meeting ended with summing up the results of joint activities in 2021 and discussing plans for cooperation between MPS South and Izolyator Group.
