The Vietnam National Power Transmission Corporation showed interest in the deliveries of Izolyator products

On 19 June 2023, a meeting between representatives of the Vietnam National Power Transmission Corporation and the Izolyator Group took place.

The EVN National Power Transmission Corporation (EVN NPT) is responsible for development and operation of the nationwide power transmission system. The main activities are: to effectively realize electric power transmission, to invest in grid development, to operate, maintain and service the network, to render consulting services in regard to construction and investment, monitoring of project realization, training and developing employees for management, operation and maintenance of the power system. The 500 kV lines system plays the ‘backbone’ of the national electricity system. The company is headquartered in Hanoi.

The delegation of EVN NPT, headed by Vice President Vu Tran Nguyen, expressed interest in bushings of voltages up to 550 kV inclusive and high-voltage cable accessories in connection with the implementation of large-scale projects to develop the power grid complex of Vietnam.

At the meeting, representatives of the Izolyator Group Senior Sales Manager — Asia & America Denis Grankin and Head of Sales — HV Cable Systems of Izolyator Group Nikolay Balashov made a presentation of the group and its enterprises.

The EVN NPT delegation saw a presentation of products, technological equipment, production and innovation potential of the Izolyator Complex engaged in production of high-voltage bushings, the Izolyator-AKS high-voltage cable accessories plant and MIM, a manufacturer of high-voltage bushings in India.

The parties also discussed the existing experience in deliveries of Izolyator high-voltage bushings to Vietnam.
