The head of the Energoсomplekt Production Association from Belarus visited the Izolyator Group’s enterprises

On November 9, 2023, the enterprises of the Izolyator Group were visited by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Energoсomplekt Production Association, Honored Power Engineer of the Republic of Belarus Sergey Podgaisky.

Energocomplekt Production Association is the largest enterprise in Belarus in the sphere of cables and wires production. Control cables, wires for overhead power transmission lines, installation and connecting wires, power cables for voltage up to 363 kV inclusive are produced. The complete product range includes more than 100 000 label sizes. Energocomplekt is located in Vitebsk.

The guest was received by the head of the Izolyator Group Alexander Slavinsky, whereafter he visited the Izolyator-AKS high-voltage cable accessories plant and the Izolyator-VV high-voltage bushings production complex.

Sergey Podgaisky, as the head of a cable and wire products enterprise, was particularly interested in Izolyator-AKS cable armature, its range, technical and operational characteristics and production technology.

Technical Director of Izolyator-AKS Viktor Pshennov thoroughly familiarized the guest with the design and operational features of cable joints, outdoor terminations, cable connectors. Also, the head of the Energoсomplekt was shown the most modern technological equipment in the insulating shops and semiconducting products shops, in the acceptance testing laboratory.

At the Izolyator-VV Production Complex, the guest got acquainted with the key stages of high-voltage bushings production, including the preparation of parts and components, the internal insulation manufacturing cycle, assembly, testing and preparation for shipment to customers. In addition, an acquaintance with the pilot production of the R&D center took place.

At the end of his visit, the guest viewed a personal exhibition of paintings of one of the employees of the Izolyator Group in a specially designated and equipped exhibition space.

The meeting of the two executives became the next step in the development of Russian-Belarusian cooperation in the development and production of modern and in-demand power equipment.
