Cooperation with partners from Belarus is expanding

On 25 October 2023, the Izolyator-AKS high-voltage cable accessories plant received a visit of management representatives of the Minskenergo Republican Unitary Enterprise of Electric Power Industry, its branch Minsk Cable Networks and the Energocomplekt Production Association from Belarus.

Minsk Cable Networks is a branch of the Minskenergo Republican Unitary Enterprise of the Electric Power Industry and is part of a single production and technological complex for the production, transmission and distribution of electrical and thermal energy. The main activity of the Branch is the transmission and distribution of electricity, Maintenance (operation and repair), construction, reconstruction and modernization of electrical networks 0.45–126 kV, energy and technological equipment. Minskenergo carries out activities in the production, transmission, distribution and sale of electrical and thermal energy, aimed at ensuring reliable and uninterrupted power supply to consumers in Minsk and the Minsk region.

Energocomplekt Production Association is the largest enterprise in Belarus in the sphere of cables and wires production. Control cables, wires for overhead power transmission lines, installation and connecting wires, power cables for voltage up to 363 kV inclusive are produced. The complete product range includes more than 100,000 label sizes. Energocomplekt is located in Vitebsk.

The visitors and the management of the Izolyator-AKS plant had talks followed by a tour of high-voltage cable accessories production.

The Belarusian partners also visited the Izolyator-VV Production Complex of high-voltage bushings and the museum of the Izolyator Group during their tour over the facility.

During the talks, the parties discussed the most promising areas of cooperation and potential joint projects, primarily in Russia and Belarus, as well as in neigbouring and overseas countries.

At the Izolyator-AKS plant, the guests got acquainted in detail with samples of finished products and design features of various types of high-voltage cable accessories, as well as advanced equipment for production and acceptance tests.

The multifunctional service center and its capabilities also aroused great interest.

During a visit to the Izolyator-AKS production facility, comprehensive answers were given to numerous clarifying questions from Belarusian partners.

On a sightseeing tour of the Izolyator-VV production complex, the guests received a fairly complete understanding of the advanced technologies for the production of modern high-voltage bushings and their testing.

A visit to the corporate museum organically complemented the guests’ impressions with historical material telling about the birth, formation and development of the Izolyator plant.
