Cable accessories of the Izolyator Group have been installed at a power facility in Uzbekistan for the first time

From June 20 to July 2, 2023, Izolyator-AKS cable accessories were installed in Uzbekistan at the 126 kV Olmos substation under construction of the Regional Electric Grids for the first time in Tashkent.

Joint-Stock Company Regional Electric Grids manages enterprises of territorial electric networks that distribute and sell electric energy to end consumers. The Regional Electric Grids structure includes regional branches and enterprises of territorial (regional) electric networks that operate 0.45; 7.2; 12; 40.5 and 126 kV electric networks, as well as new construction, reconstruction, major and current repairs units. The company is part of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

12 units of 126 kV outdoor terminations manufactured by the Izolyator-AKS plant, which is part of the Izolyator Group, were successfully installed.

At the installation supervision, Izolyator Group was represented by its Head Alexander Slavinsky, Neighboring Countries Sales Director Maxim Osipov, Technical Specialist of the Representative Office of the Izolyator Group in Uzbekistan Timur Khuzyakhmetov and Head of the Service Center of the Izolyator-AKS High-Voltage Cable Accessories Plant Sergey Kodemaskin who directly supervised the installation.

According to the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Olmos substation will improve the power supply of about 30–40 thousand households.

The Izolyator Group’s unput in the construction of this substation, the delivery of the ordered high-voltage insulating equipment in a short time came as result of a large organizational and technical work carried out by the Representative Office of the Izolyator Group in Uzbekistan.

With all the projects implemented in Uzbekistan, Izolyator has established itself as a reliable supplier of equipment and services for the Regional Electric Grids company.

In March of this year, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev approved a project for the development of 40.5–126 kV electric networks, aimed at improving the power supply of the city of Tashkent.

According to the document, five 126 kV substations with a total capacity of 664 MVA, including Olmos, and 40.5 and 126 kV power lines with a total length of about 50 km will be built in the capital of Uzbekistan in 2023.
