The main annual dialogue on the development of distribution electric networks in Russia

On July 5 and 6, 2023, the Izolyator Group took part in the VIII International Scientific and Technical Conference ‘Development and Reliability Improvement of Distribution Network’, held at the World Trade Center in Moscow.

The ‘Development and Reliability Improvement of Distribution Network’ International Scientific and Technical Conference is one of the main events in the power industry of the Russian Federation. The conference has been held at the all-Russian level since 2015. In 2022, the Conference will be organized as an international event for the first time. Over the years, the conference has attracted a large number of professionals having practical executive experience and knowledge of all the nuances on working in electrical grids. In addition, the event attracts industry leaders with the knowledge required to ensure the innovation development of the distribution power grid.

The Izolyator Group and its products were presented at a joint stand with Uncomtech Holding and Armatech Niled Group at the EEPIR Technical Exhibition, which was deployed at the conference site.

At the exhibition stand, Izolyator presented its advanced developments: high-voltage cable accessories for voltages from 126 to 550 kV and high-voltage bushings for voltages from 12 to 550 kV with especially moisture-resistant internal RIN-insulation. The presented products are certified for compliance with the technical requirements of Rosseti Company and are recommended for use at power facilities of the Rosseti Group.

During the conference, our colleagues attended the events of the business program, made acquaintance with the latest developments in the power grid sector, had meetings and forward-looking direct dialogues with strategic partners. Plans have been outlined to strengthen and develop long-term relations.

The organizers of the VIII International Scientific and Technical Conference ‘Development and Reliability Improvement of Distribution Network’ are the Rosseti Group and the Electric Power. Transmission and Distribution Journal with the support of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation.

The sole industry event in Russia dedicated to the distribution grid complex brought together representatives of all regions of Russia: from Kaliningrad to Sakhalin; all categories of owners of distribution electrical networks: from large state holdings to small private organizations and energy divisions of oil and gas enterprises; representatives of generating companies and manufacturers of electrical products.

The delegation of the Rosseti Group included representatives of the management of both the parent company, PJSC Rosseti, and subsidiaries.

All participants possess unique experience in managing distribution networks of various sizes (from large regions and megacities to small towns and farms) in various geographic and climatic conditions.

The range of issues discussed at the conference was focused primarily on the qualitative renovation of the facilities of the distribution power grid complex and strengthening the reliability and security of networks.

At the EEPIR Technical Exhibition that accompanied the conference, manufacturers presented the latest equipment and technical solutions for electrical distribution networks. Exhibitors are over 55 innovative Russian companies that showcased advanced technical solutions in more than 20 areas.
