The Izolyator-AKS plant — winner of the Best Innovative Product contest at the Cabex-2024 exhibition!

From 19 to 21 March 2024, the Izolyator-AKS high-voltage cable accessories participated in the 22nd International Exhibition of Cable and Wire Products, Equipment and Materials for its Production ‘Cabex’, where it won the ‘Best Innovative Product — 2024’ contest.

Cabex is an International Exhibition of Cable and Wire Products, Equipment and Materials for its Production. Exhibitors are russian and foreign manufacturers and suppliers of cable and wire products, tools and equipment for cable installation, equipment and materials for the production of cable and wire products. Visitors of the exhibition are managers and specialists of specialized trade enterprises, construction and installation organizations, companies-end customers of cable and wire products, responsible for the selection of cable and wires, as well as related equipment and products.

Izolyator-AKS Plant of Izolyator Group is a developer and manufacturer of high-voltage cable accessories of all types (cable joints, outdoor terminations and cable connectors) for voltages from 126 to 550 kV for cable cross-sections from 185 to 3000 mm². The Izolyator-AKS products successfully passed a series of tests at the Russian Cable Scientific Research and Development Institute, were certified for compliance with the technical requirements of Federal Grid Company — Rosseti and in the Pribor-Expert system for compliance with the requirements of regulatory documents. 

The Izolyator-AKS plant and the Russian Cable Scientific Research and Development Institute (VNIIKP) jointly took first place in the Electrical Installation Products category for the transition cable joint, the result of R&D activities under an agreement with Rosseti Moscow Region distribution grid company, for connecting an oil-filled 126–252 kV high-pressure cable and a 126–252 kV cable with cross-linked polyethylene insulation.

The award was assigned by the expert committee of the competition represented by specialists from VNIIKP and International Association ‘Electrocable’.

The ‘Best Innovative Product’ contest, traditionally held as part of the Cabex exhibition, determines winning companies whose innovative solutions are recognized as the most promising and significant for the development of the cable industry.

The business program of the exhibition also included an awards ceremony of this year's contest winners.

Also, the Izolyator-AKS plant was highly appreciated by the exhibition organizers for the relevance and professionalism of the presented exposition.

The following samples of advanced products were demonstrated at the company’s stand:

- ISKM-126 dry outdoor termination;

- ISKMK-126 dry outdoor termination with combined insulator;

- ISMR-252 cable joint with shields transposition.

The management team of the enterprise received the stand visitors. The exhibition days brought in many productive talks with current and potential partners.

Industry specialists showed great professional interest in Izolyator-AKS cable accessories. Inspection of the samples was accompanied by detailed explanations on the design and technical and operational features of the presented equipment.

Head of the Izolyator Group, Dr. Alexander Slavinsky visited the exhibition together with technical and commercial divisions’ management representatives.
