Izolyator Group of Companies strengthens its position in the near abroad

On October 17, 2025, Izolyator Group of companies held a meeting with the management of the Asia Trafo transformer plant, which is part of the Kazakh holding company Alageum Electric.

Asia Trafo is the largest transformer equipment manufacturing plant in Central Asia, part of the leading Kazakhstan manufacturer of electrical equipment Alageum Electric. The main products of the plant are power oil transformers and autotransformers of voltage class 110, 220, 500 kV with a capacity of up to 500 MVA, as well as reactors. The design capacity of the plant is over 12,000 MVA per year.

The Izolyator Group was represented by Maxim Zagrebin, Director of Sales and Development of Cooperation with Power Equipment Manufacturers.

Projects in Kazakhstan, Russia and neighboring countries were discussed at the meeting. The issue of working together with common customers was raised.

As part of the productive negotiations, new technical solutions and prospects for equipment supplies were agreed upon.

The partners were presented with the capabilities of the Izolyator Group of companies in the context of developing equipment for ultra-high voltage classes. A full range of technical support options for the supplied equipment was agreed upon.
